Excellent food tour and Mohamed was a great host with some lighthearted commentary between food stalls. The variety of traditional Moroccan food was excellent and the Tagine meal at the end of the tour was superb. Would definitely recommend.

Definitivamente el mejor tour que hicimos. Hazlo el primer día que llegues a Marrakesh porque así conoces la Medina al mismo tiempo que vas con un local comiendo diferentes cosas típicas del lugar. Pierdes el miedo de andar solos o de que te engañen y conoces el lugar de primeras. La verdad que merece mucho la pena el tour. Vete con hambre porque te dan mucha comida.

Our tour guide facilitated an excellent tour that gave us an authentic experience of Morocco. He was knowledgeable of the neighborhood and extremely personable. We tasted a variety of brilliant cuisine that was native to Marrakesh. He introduced us to his wide network of friends while integrating history and culture. He successfully made us feel like we were part of the community. Because of this tour, I left Marrakesh with an original Berber rug, natural oils, and a full belly.

We had an excellent time being shown around Marrakesh by Amine. The local food spots he took us to were fantastic and we never would have discovered them ourselves.

He was a great guide too. Friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions on anything. Highly recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Absolutely first class! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I wanted to experience the Medina in the evening to see it come alive, but we wanted to do it with a guide who could help us navigate the maze! We saw this food tour and we’re so glad that we booked!

We had an absolutely brilliant guide, who spoke perfect English, and took us round many different food stalls (well over 10!) where our group got to try a whole manner of authentic Moroccan foods – sweet, savoury, and snails!

We then ended the night in a nice restaurant with a three-course meal which was delicious! (Make sure you have a light lunch before going on this tour!).

All in all, this was a brilliant way to see the Medina and try foods we wouldn’t have been brave enough to try to order by ourselves. Thank you, One Life Trips, for being such brilliant ambassadors for Marrakech and Morocco!

Our tour guide is an absolute legend. We loved this tour. There were so many stops and we tried so many things we never would have gone near otherwise. Great way to start our trip. Make sure you arrive on this tour very hungry as there’s a lot of food! All of it was good though. A highlight of our trip!

Try lots of food, learn some local traditions, and have a guide help navigate you through the maze of the Medina ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our guide spoke perfect English and answered all our questions. We tried about 10 different snacks, bites, and it was capped off with a 3 course meal at the end. We loved how there are periods of rest and tea throughout the tour to counter all the walking. It felt great to have a local guide walk you through the maze of the Medina. If you’re curious about Moroccan street food and traditional food take this tour. Definitely left us completely full. Highly recommended.

Quality & Quantity ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We started by trying Olives and it continued down along the streets of the Medina until we had tried at least 15 morsels of food, which were all excellent choices. Our guide rang ahead to each stall holder, which meant when we arrived they were waiting for us.
To top it off we saw some sites (especially the upmarket street) we didn’t know existed. After filling our bellies with the taste treats we sat down to a 3 course meal. Couldn’t complain about the quantity or the quality. Highly recommend, especially a first up tour when you arrive in Marrakech, it helps you get your bearings.
